Miss Virda Mary Raburn, sister of Ollie Raburn, who was 93 years of age, died in Collingsworth General Hospital Tuesday, December 25, at 11:05 a.m.
She had been a resident of Thomas Nursing Center several years.
Miss Raburn was born March 4, 1886, at Rango, Louisiana, the daughter of L.C. and Ollie Brinson Raburn. She had been a Baptist since early in life.
Miss Raburn came to Wellington in 1943, to make her home with her brother and his family, during the years when her niece and nephews were growing up. Prior to that, she lived at Mt. Calm.
Survivors are her brother, Ollie B. Raburn of Wellington; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Ramage of Canyon. There are a number of nieces and nephews.
