Here resteth the body of John Davenport of Partington who departed this life Febry 20th 1802 aged 67 years also Hannah wife of John Davenport of Partington who departed this life Feby 14th 1795 aged 63 years also Elizabeth their daughter who departed this life Febry 23rd 1771 aged 8 years. Elizabeth Sissy daughter of Ellis and Phobe Ann Green died Novr 16th 1886 aged 5 years. Beloved by all. Also James Allen husband of Elsie Mary Burgess who departed this life 12 Augusut 1931 aged 32 years also Elsie Mary wife of the above died 6th February 1980 aged 80 years also Edwin Allen son of the above and beloved husband of Irene died 18th March 1979 aged 49 years . Cremated. Mourn not for us our children dear. We are not dead but sleeping here. This tedious world we leave behind and hope a glourious crown to find.
