Mr. Ben Vander Zwaag passed away Tuesday evening at his home near Middleburg, following an illness of cancer. He was 63 years of age at the time of his passing.
Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at one o'clock at the house and at one thirty at the First Ref. church at Middleburg in charge of Rev. Kolenbrander.
Surviving are Mrs. Vander Zwaag and six children, (Anne) Mrs. Henry Muilenburg, Cpt. Jerry Vander Zwaag, who is stationed in Mississippi, and Ellen, Susan, and Elmer Vander Zwaag at home.
Interment was made at the Middleburg cemetery.
