Wade James Martin, age 82, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the family home. He was retired from ALCOA as a member of the 25 Year Club. He was well known to all his many friends, an avid horse trader, and a Maryville constable in the 19th District for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Martin; son, Earnest Martin; parents, Jim and Josie Everett Martin; brothers, Clarence, Jack, John, and Elmer; and sisters, Susie, Nellie, Ethel, Carrie, and Ellen.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Dean Ridings; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Judy Martin, Don and Sue Martin, and Mary Martin; special friend and companion, Betty Livesay; sister-in-law, Betty Sue Martin; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; caretaker, Dobbin Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2006 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Tuesday at Laurel Bank Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
