Catherine Lasky Lombard, age 90, of Fairfield, devoted wife of the late John J. Lombard, died on Monday, September 16, 2002, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Fairfield, she lived in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport for many years before returning to Fairfield in 1981. Mrs. Lombard worked in several local factories including Avco and Sikorsky Aircraft. While living in Black Rock, she was a parishioner of St. Ann Church. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and gardening. She is survived by her children, Catherine Jeffko and her husband, Walter, of Lunenburg, Mass., and John Lombard and his wife, Karen, of Coventry; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Paul and Ann Jeffko; one sister, Ann Wysocki of Fairfield; one brother, Frank Lasky of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one grandson, Walter Jeffko; three sisters; and four brothers.
