MT. PLEASANT. Our loving dad, granddad, brother, uncle and friend passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Aug. 18, 2004. He was surrounded by his loving family. He has been reunited with his high school sweetheart, Julie Ann Strickland whom he had married on June 11, 1958. Born Aug. 30, 1939 to Wilma and Clyde Vance in Fairview, UT. Graduated from Cyprus High School in 1957. Retired after 30+ years from the Arch. Stone Div. of Buehner Concrete in Murray, UT. He loved spending time with his family in the outdoors while fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his sons: Bryan (Galen), Salt Lake City; Rick (Kathy), W. Jordan; Russ (Laurie), S. Jordan; eight grandchildren; sister, Sheraldene, West Jordan; brothers Bryce, Fairview; Wayne, Centerfield. Preceded in death by his wife, mother, father and stepfather, Charlie Anderson. Special thanks to our dear friend Jerry for her love and care during his final days. In keeping with his wishes a memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
