ROSALEE REEL FUNERAL HELD

Rev. Giffin Conducts Rites For Daughter of Morning Sun Residents

Special To The Hawk-Eye.
Morning Sun (IA) January 31 -- Funeral services for Rosalee Reel (sic: Rosalie Reil), little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Walker, northeast of town, was (sic) held in the Pierce Funeral parlors Monday afternoon (January 30, 1933), conducted by Reverend W. J. Giffin. Mrs. C. W. Butler and Mrs. E. W. Browning sang. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery.

Those present from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fortner and children, Mr. and Mrs. George Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dotson, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Walker, Harry McDowell and daughter Ruby and Samuel Walker of New London, Charles and Carl Walker of Toolesboro, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Richardson and children of Danville, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walker, Winfield, Mr. and Mrs. John Russel and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Maddox of Wapello.

Home Bereft of Little Babe.

The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. (sic) Walker, aged seventeen days, died at the family home northeast of town Saturday night, January 28th, of pneumonia. The funeral services were conducted at the Pierce funeral parlors Monday afternoon by the Reverend W. J. Giffin of the Union church. The interment was at Elmwood cemetery.

The babe, Rosalie Reil, was born January 12th (sic). Those called here for the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs, Roy Fortner and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dotson, Sam Walker, Harry McDowell and daughter Ruby, all of New London; Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Richardson and Family of Danville; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walker of Crawfordsville; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Walker of Winfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Russel (sic) and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Maddox of Wapello; Charley Walker and son Carl of Toolsboro.
