Body at Lafond and Son Funeral Home, Opelousas. Religious services were held Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services at Louisiana Memorial United Methodist Church, Opelousas, at 3 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Fred Shirley and the Rev. T. M. Lancaster officiating. Interment in Myrtle Grove Cemetery, Opelousas. Masonic rites at the graveside.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Celeste DeLaureal Boagni, Opelousas; son, Dr. Edward M. Boagni III, Baton Rouge; sister, Mrs. Rosa B. Gardner, Opelousas; and four grandchildren.
