Lewis married Dora Ragan on 5/02/1902. Lewis and his wife had eight children. Herman, b. 12-07-1902, Floyed, b. 01-08-1904, Clyde E., b. 05-11-1906, Desta, stillborn 02-26-1908, Delmo b.08-08-1910, died 05-09-191,Dera Marie b. 01-15-1913, Dernon, b. 10-04-1918, Emory, b. (02-07-1918?)

Lewis had another son, Harry Emerson Armstrong (Wilt) b. 06-04-1902. The boy's mother was Anna Maud Armstrong, dau. of Phoebe Jane (Jenny) Armstrong and Frank Armstrong. When Anna Maud's father Frank died her mother Phoebe married Johnatan Henman on 08-1-1889 Anna went to live with her mother and stepfather at that time. On 06-04-1902 Harry E. Armstrong (Wilt) was born.
