James H. Woods and Miss Sophie McCormack were married in the parlors of the Stanford Female College Wednesday evening at 5 0'clock by Eld. B. J. Pinkerton. The marriage is the culmination of a courtship of a number of years and by it two fond young hearts are united.
The bride is the pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett McCormack, of the West End, and is justly one of the most popular young ladies of her section, which is famous for beautiful and cultured women. She is an exceedingly sweet girl and Mr. Woods is to be congratulated on winning her.
The groom is one of Lincoln's most active and industrious young farmers, is a moral gentleman and is liked by everybody. He is a son of Mr. E. P. Woods and like him, is a substantial citizen. There is every reason why the union of these young hearts will prove a most happy one and here's hoping that it will. After the ceremony, which was said in the presence of a few relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Woods drove to the bride's home where a reception was given them. Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Woods entertained in their honor last night. They will make their home at Mr. Woods', where the good wishes of friends galore will always be with them.
