A native of Spring City, Mrs. Hulgan was a long-time resident of Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora McBay; brother, Levoid McBay; and daughter, Sandra Garrison Heck.
Survivors include her husband, R. Lamar Hulgan of Chattanooga; sons, Ron and Charlie Garrison, both of Chattanooga; parents, Ernest and Mildred McBay of Spring City; sister, Betty Simpson of Spring City; brothers, Floyd and Roy McBay, both of Spring City; grandchildren, Sheena Heck, Erika Shrophire and Lindsey and Dustin Garrison, all of Chattanooga; one great-grandson; Aunt Maggie and Uncle Buster Simmons of Spring City; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., with Rev. David Harr officiating. Interment followed in Lakewood Memory Gardens South. Heritage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
