Michael J. Kacsan, 93, of North Versailles, died Sat., July 14, 2012, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born July 28, 1918, in McKeesport, to John & Mary (Szpakowska) Kacsan; and the husband of the late Helen A. (Gobbels) Kacsan for 72 years. Michael was retired from US Steel, National Tube, and he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during WWII. He was a member of the White Oak American legion Post #701. Survived by daughter, Phyllis (Francis) Yodonis of North Versailles; son, Dennis (Faith) Kacsan of Slippery Rock; grandsons, Francis, Jeffrey, Todd; great-grandsons, Christopher, Nicholas; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Mary and brothers, Jay and Frank. Willig Funeral Home. Entombment, Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
