James Lewis "Doc" Spearman was the husband of Evelyn Marcel Spearman and father to James, Tom, Kathy, Kenneth, Ray and Ricky. He was the grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 7. My grandpa was a carpenter and he also raised beef cattle and grew the best veggies I ever ate. He spoiled us grandkids greatly; he took us out for breakfast on weekends and lunch after church. My funniest memory was when he and I went and got our hair permed together. I've enjoyed every moment spent with him. He truely was a great man and we miss him very much. He was the son of the late Thomas and Dora Spearman. his favorite song was amazing grace.
