Sister to Lewis "Buddy" Archer, daughter of Lewis C. and Bessie Shirling Archer. Susie was considered mentally challenged, her mother removed her from school at the age of nine. She remained at home until Bessie died and was placed in a nursing home. Susie became a ward of the state. She died while living at Twin City Assisted Living home, Twin City, Ga. and is buried in Emanuel County, Ga. There is a family plot in King Cemetery, Riverdale, Clayton County Ga with her headstone also. She never married and had no children. Her brother, Lewis, died after enlisting in WWII, he had one child. I have no information on his widow or child. I think I may have information on his widow and daughter to be updated soon.
