Frances M. Jones, 80, 528 W. Franklin St., Elkhart, died at 10:10am Friday in Elkhart General Hospital, where she had been a patient the past week.
She was born May 26, 1914, in Millersburg as Frances M. Kurtz, she married Claude E. Jones on June 4, 1938 in Jeffersonville and he died June 30, 1956. She retired in 1974 after working 20 years with the S.S. Kresge Co. She had attended Central Christian Church.
Two sisers, Virginia Bissinger and Martha Kurtz preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 2 to 4pm and from 6 to 8pm Sunday at the Hartaier-Gutermuth Funeral Home, Elkhart. Services will be held at 10am Monday with the Rev. George Atkins of Central Christian Church officating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen.
