Died in the Peterborough Regional Hospital after his float plane a 180 Cessna crashed into a barge in Gannon's Narrows. Roy was taken to the Peterborough Hospital where he died the following day. At this time he was living in North York Ontario (Section of Toronto) with his partner Griselda of twenty years.
