Mrs. Norma Margaret Hickox Moore, 81 of Blackshear, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Pierce County Nursing Home.
Born in Waycross, GA on July 18, 1930, she had lived in Waycross all of her life. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and was a member of Kettle Creek Congregational Methodist Church. Mrs. Moore loved to cook and was known for her dumplings and strawberry shortcake.
A daughter of the late Jackson & Goldie Griffin Hickox, Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Moore; her daughter, Sylvia Jane Crews; her son, Lamar Crews; and all of her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Moore is now home with her family.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Marlene Sirmons Crews of Blackshear; 3 grandchildren, Keith & Teirie Tyre, Dana & Michael Daniels and Clay & Brianna Crews; 8 great grandchildren, Kurtis Enzian, Chelsea & Zach Taylor, Brittney Enzian, Dalton Daniels, Brandon Nettles, Dagan McDonald, Beau Crews and Lexi Strickland; 2 great, great grandchildren, Bryce Taylor and Bentley Taylor, and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Moore were held Friday afternoon, July 13, 2012, at 2:00 o'clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Cemetery:
Interment was in the Blackshear Cemetery.
