Keenesburg Sgt. Reported Dead in Action

Washington, May 5--Additional soldiers killed in action were announced by the war department today.

The list included:
COLORADO: Killed in the Southwest Pacific
Tech. Sgt. Andrew G. Anderson, Route 1, Keenesburg

Sgt. Anderson was inducted into the army air corps April 13, 1942, and was sent to Sheppard Field, Tex., where he completed a six months course in air mechanics. He later transferred to the aerial gunnery school at Camp Corsair, Calif.

A graduate of Keenesburg high school in 1933, he farmed with his father at Keenesburg before his army service.

Sgt. Anderson was earlier reported as missing in action.
