MUNCIE--James E. Brannon, 57, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 15, 2012 at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson.
James was a lifelong resident of Muncie and loving son of D. Thelma Webb and the late Stirgil Brannon.
James leaves behind a son, William E. Brannon; his mother, Thelma Webb; brothers, Paul Hicks, Troy Hicks (wife-Vicki); sisters, Louise Williams (husband-Chuck), Judy Delk, Letta Hicks, Zona Robbins (husband-Johnny), Linda McGinnis (husband-Don), Debbie Spratt (friend-Bobby Spears); his special friend and mother of his child, Shirley Slaven; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; beloved sister, Linda J. Hunt; brother-in-law, Delmar Delk; and a sister-in-law, Sue Hicks.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Cremation will follow services and inurnment will take place at Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
