Dawn Pearce joined her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Dawn was born and raised in Jackson, TN. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and lifelong educator for over 20 years. She was a teacher at Malesus Elementary School in Jackson, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Scott of Jackson, TN; mother, Sherry Thomas of Jackson, TN; sister, Gloria Richardson and husband Pete Richardson; nieces, Ashley and Andrea Richardson of Jackson, TN; niece, Kathryn King and nephew, Will King, both of Jonesboro, AR.

Visitation with the family will be from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., at the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, and burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, c/o Malesus Elementary Fund, 620 Skyline Drive, Jackson, TN 38301.
