W. Raymond Cox, 79, died in an Olney hospital. He was a member and former deacon of First Baptist Church. Mr. Cox was a contract pumper in Archer County since the early 1940s. He was a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Antelope.
Survived by his wife; one daughter - Iris Van Hemert; one son - Alvin R. Cox; one brother - Royce Cox; one sister - Jo Taylor; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons.
