"Mrs. Joseph Keene, of Chadwick's Mills,died yesterday afternoon after a brief illness. Mrs. Keene was well known in her native town and won the esteem and respect of all whom she met. She leaves a husband and two sons. Mrs. Keene was a sister of Mrs. S. S. Mellor, and of Thomas Johnson, of New York Mills."
Alice's husband Joseph, who was a Civil War veteran, died in Willowvale Dec. 1, 1921.
Date of interment: April 4, 1892.
