Allen E. Strelow, Sr. was the youngest child born on a farm in Wellington outside of Ft. Collins, CO, into a family that had migrated from Lincoln, NE. His life was difficult - some found him endearing and for others, less so. He served his country as a Marine in WWII and for many years as a civil servant in Alaska, and for that we are thankful. He was preceded in death by his 4th wife, Lena Lillian (Turner) and was survived by his 4 children (Michael Hensley since passed away in 2002) and a handful of grandchildren. May he be resting in peace.
