Ann Marie Peterson, 69, of Winona died Thursday, July 12, 2012, with her family at her side, at Saint Anne Extended Healthcare, Winona, after a short battle with cancer.

Ann was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Winona to Herbert and Florence (Sula) Schulz. She was formerly married to LaVern Konkel. On May 25, 1990, Ann married Raymond Peterson, and he preceded her in death Nov. 11, 2008. She retired from Wincraft Inc., Winona, and was formerly employed at Winona USA and Winona Knitting Mills, and was a homemaker while her children were in school. She was a past member of St. Casmir Catholic Church, Winona. Ann was an avid camper and could be seen driving her golf cart around Prairie Island Camp Ground on many occasions.

Ann is survived by her children; Tim (Raydene) Konkel and his children Phillip and Matthew, Tom (Monica) Konkel and their children Katrina and Kylie, Jackie Konkel, Gary (Carol Goetting) Konkel and Roberta Jo (Francis Funke) Semling and her children Jessica, Michael and Zachary; stepchildren Linda (Russell) Lorenz, Debbie Dubois, Patty Riley, Bob Peterson, Barb (Brian) Kunda, Ernie Peterson, Gloria (Jerry) Boberg, Lloyd Peterson; and Tim (Amy Kunda) Peterson, and numerous step grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister Judy (Harold) Rackow; two brothers: Harvey (Kathy) Schulz; and Paul (Mary) Schulz; other relatives and beloved dog, Baby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mom Virginia Schulz, husband Raymond and son-in-law Todd Semling.

Graveside services and interment for Ann will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Winona with the Rev. Richard Colletti officiating.
