Mr. Green was a movie and television actor and a music composer (more than 70 of his songs were published). Other jobs included working as a runner, board boy and clerk on Wall Street until the Big Crash in 1929. He then became a
professional boxer, fighting as "Grizzly Green," until 1940, when forced by asthma, he moved to AZ, where he became a prospector and small mine operator. He was a widower of Frances Couch and Jeannette Wacker.
