Bill Ed Garnett Dies
After Two Year Illness
Bill Ed Garnett, 61, died at noon Monday, November 1, at his Long Ridge residence following an illness of two years.
A native of Owen County, the son of William and Susie Tackett Garnett, he was a farmer and a member of the Long Ridge Baptist church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Glore Garnett; four sisters, Mrs. Opal Mason and Mrs. Eloise Rose, Madison, Ind., Mrs. Anna Belle Estes, Owenton, and Mrs. Laura Mae Estes, Cincinnati; two brothers, Jack, Madison, Ind., and Lebus, Sweet Owen.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Smither-Coates with Rev. James Renault officiating. Burial in Owenton Cemetery.
