Glenn T. Graves, resident of Belmont, CA, age 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 19th. Glenn was raised in Salinas, CA and graduated from Salinas High in 1961. He served in the Navy during Vietnam, stationed in San Diego and later graduated from San Diego State. A San Francisco business owner and professional photographer for nearly 40 years, Glenn is fondly remembered for his sense of humor, generosity and active involvement in the community. Glenn shared his myriad hobbies with his family, inspiring in his two sons a passion for skiing, a critical inquisitiveness and a love of animals. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with Jewel at the Belmont Dog Park, making frequent trips for a cappuccino and bowling in numerous leagues with friends at BelMateo Bowl. Glenn is survived by sons Ben and Pat, sister Elaine, and former wife Ruth Norris. Memorial will be held on July 28th, from 2-4pm at the Neptune Society, 1645 El Camino Real in Belmont,650-592-9880. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Peninsula Humane Society.
