Clarence Hekman, 81, Ada, formerly Lockhart, Minn., died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, in the Halstad (Minn.) Living Center.
Mr. Hekman, known as Pete, was born March 19, 1921, near Lockhart, where he grew up and attended school. On Dec. 4, 1949, he married Helen Rude in Hendrum, Minn. They farmed in the Lockhart area. In 1979 they moved into Ada. He continued to farm until retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, a daughter, a sister, Jennie (Maurice) Stadum, Twin Valley, Minn.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation: Tonight from 5 to 7, with a prayer service at 7, in Fredrikson Funeral Home, Ada.
Funeral: Friday at 2 in Grace Lutheran Church, Ada.
Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery.
