LATTA - Ruth Tyndall Allen, widow of Romie Allen, died Thursday at her residence.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Kannaday's Funeral Home, burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born December 7, 1907, in Marion (now Dillon) County, a daughter of Robert L. Tyndall and Alice Miles Tyndall. She was a member of Catfish Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Clyde R. Allen and Quay Allen, both of Latta; three daughters, Jenny Kate Lane of Latta, Virginia Fore of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Barbara Moody of Charleston; a brother, Sam Tyndall of Latta; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
