Stephanie Jo Hanson, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hanson, rural route, Dayton, Iowa, died early this Friday morning, April 5, at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge, following a lingering illness of leukemia.

Miss Hanson was born Aug. 22, 1950 at Fort Dodge. She was a senior at Grand Community High School at Boxholm.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hanson; 3 brothers, Jerry, Jim and John, all at home; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Florence Hanson of Boxholm.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 7, at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church at Boxholm, with the Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Lawn Cemetery at Boxholm.

Friends may call at the Carson Funeral Home at Boxholm after Saturday noon.

Services held for Stephanie Hanson, Sunday, April 7

Services for Stephanie Jo Hanson, 17, were held at the Methodist Church in Boxholm at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7. The Carson Funeral Home in Boxholm was in charge of the arrangements.

The services were conducted by Rev. James Smith. Music was presented by Beverly Johnson, accompanied by Margaret Westeen. The church committee was in charge of the flowers.

Bearers were David Carlson, Harland Huglin, Kenneth Jordan, Craig Reutter, Bill Shepard, and Julian Swanson. Interment was held in the Lawn Cemetery at Boxholm.

Stephanie Jo was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hanson of rural Dayton. She was born in Fort Dodge, August 22, 1950. She attended the Grand Community School and was a member of the senior class. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She passed away early Friday, April 5 at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge after a long illness.

Stephanie Jo is survived by her parents, three brothers, Jerry, Jim and John, all at home and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Florence Hanson, Boxholm.
