Joyce, 76, passed away Friday, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Joyce was the daughter of the late Earl Vernell & Susie Onetia (Silvernail) Campbell.
She was united in marriage with Donald Hetherington, and cherished her time with him until his death in in 2005. Joyce was employed in the engineering department for GM Pontiac for eighteen years. She was a member of the Caro First Baptist Church and loved reading and traveling.
Joyce is survived by one brother and two sisters, Kenneth Campbell of Missouri, Sharon (Raymond) Mervyn of Caro, Donna McDaniel of Caro; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by three siblings, Carol Koop, Kaye Helzer and William Campbell; and one brother in law, Michael McDaniel.
Funeral services was held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Ronald Wigand officiating.
