Alfred M Anderson passed away at St Croix Hospital last Thursday morning October 28 at the age of 70 years 3 months. Death resulted from a base skull fracture which he received while trimming a tree on Thursday. Mr Anderson was born in Skane Sweden, July 3, 1878, He came to America in 1903 and settled on a farm 3 miles north of Center City where he resided at the time of his death. He married Johanna Hedenskog November 1, 1913 and six children were born to this union: Mrs Kenneth Anderson (Theresa), Rush City, B Martin Anderson, Center City, Mrs. Leslie Maguire, Center City, Gustav Anderson, Seattle Washington, Hazel Anderson, San Francisco, CA, Paul Anderson, Lindstrom. He was survived by a brother Peter Mortenson and a sister Mrs. Peter Larson. Mr Anderson was an active member of the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church since his arrival in this country and was very well known and like by the entire community. Funeral services were held Saturday October 30 at 2 pm at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church with interment at the Center City Cemetery.
