Died at Kings Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven following a lengthy illness.

He was the president of the Lawrence County Board of Supervisors. He had served as the supervisor of District 2 for the past 32 years. He was a farmer and a Master Mason and a Colonel on the staff of Gov. John Bell Williams.

Survivors: wife, Jessie Harrison Case; son Dennis Case, daughters, Mrs. Charlie King, Mrs. Garland Boleware, Miss Catherine Case, sister, Mrs. Nettie Hamilton, and step-children.
