Christina was the daughter of William & Hannah (Copple) Snow. She married John William Crane 12 Mar 1871 in Jefferson County, IL.

Obituary:

Mrs. Christina Crane, daughter of William and Hanna Snow, died at her home west of Dix at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, age 71 years, 7 months, 13 days. She leaves besides her husband, J. W. Crane, the following children: B. S. Crane and Iven, Mrs. Willie Storment and Mrs. Effie Atchison of Dix; Mrs. Dora Beasley, Mrs. Lilly Hobbs and Spencer Crane of Centralia; Mrs. Gertie Virginia and Mrs. Ellen Wilson of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services were held at Boyd Friday, conducted by Rev. Fannon with interment in Boyd cemetery.

Mrs. Crane was well known in this vicinity and the many friends express their sympathy for the bereaved husband and children.
