Billie Jacqueline Robinson
September 23, 1932 - July 13, 2012

Billie Jacqueline Robinson, age 79, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away July 13, 2012 at her residence in Hominy.

Billie was born to John William and Effie Inez (Uto) Severns September 23, 1932 at Fairfax, Oklahoma.

Billie and Ralph George Robinson were married April 7, 1950 and he preceded her in death October 3, 1998.

Billy retired from Munsingwear Inc., in 1994 where she worked as a seamstress. She loved traveling, her kids, grandkids and great grandkids, her church and church family. She was a member of Hominy First Baptist Church and a great prayer warrior, she prayed every morning at 7:00 a.m. with Betty Mendenhall for their church and those on their prayer lists.

Billie is survived by two sons: Roger Robinson and wife DeAnna of Prue, Oklahoma and Marshall Robinson and wife Theresa of Hominy; one daughter: Cynthia Robertson and husband Kenneth of Hominy and an adopted son: Leon Robinson and wife Keisha of Hominy. Grandchildren: Shawn Dale, Leon Dyke, Tristy Grimm, Shan Horton, Ralph and Kenny Jr. Robertson, John and Hershal Robinson, Dakota, Ivy, Aiden, Harley and Shelby Robinson, Jake and Jacqueline Donnelly, Jeff and Keith Wheeler. Son-in-law Dale Donnelly and daughter-in-law Georgia Wheeler; and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph, son Richard Dee Robinson, granddaughter Leslie Donnelly, and infant daughter Shirley Marie.

Funeral Services for Billie were Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Hominy with Pastor Mark Formby and Pastor Wayne Brown officiating. Organist was Theresa Cowan and vocalist was Gerry Lay. Music selections were "Amazing Grace", and "The Old Rugged Cross". Pall Bearers were John Robinson, Hershal Robinson, Leon Robinson, Jake Donnelly, David Gritts, and Ralph Robertson; Honorary Pall Bearers were Dale Donnelly and Kenny Robertson Jr.

Interment and arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma with interment in the A.J. Powell Cemetery. You may visit our website at www.powellfuneralservices.com.
