Harold Devine, 75, of Springfield, husband of Mary Hardin Devine, died Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 at the Spring View Hospital, in Lebanon.
Born in Boyle County on June 2nd, 1936, he was the son of the late Walter Andrew and Louise Fuell Devine. He was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a son Doug (Kim) of Willisburg; two daughters, Debbie (Martin) Murphy
of Springfield and Marion (Daniel) Curtsinger of Lebanon; a sister, Linda (Buford) Lake of Harrodsburg and two brothers, Billy Gene Devine of Harrodsburg and Walter Terry (Judy) Devine of Danville; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Ida Lou Gribbins, Margaret Bugg, Marian Million and Cathy Devine and three brothers, Roy Devine, Jerry Devine and Robin Littral.
Services were held Wednesday, January 25th, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Reverand Clellan Hays and Reverand
Nelson Reynolds officiating. Burial was in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Martin Murphy, Daniel Curtsinger, Dominic Murphy, Glenn Devine, Lee Stava and Vincent Lewis.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
