Allen Eugene Litton, 58, of Atlanta, an executive of Sears, Roebuck and Co. and a former Memphian, who died Tuesday in Atlanta.

Mr. Litton born in Memphis, graduated from Tech High School. He joined Sears in 1942 and worked for the company in Memphis, Chicago and Atlanta. He was group manager of surplus stores for the southern east catalog group, when he died.

He was a member and deacon at The Smokerise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA, a 32nd-degree Mason at Woodlawn Lodge No. 211 here and member of the Al Chymia Temple.

He was formerly a member of the Memphis Rotary Club, board member of Memphis Junior Achievement, member of Sales and Marketing Executives of Memphis and a member of Sanday School teacher at Second Baptist Church here.

Burial in Memphis Memory Gardens.

He leaves his wife, Jean Sullivan Litton; a son, Randall Allen Litton of Atlanta; a daughter, Amy Sullivan Litton in Memphis; two sisters, Nettie Dickinson of Paducah, KY, and Pansy Fitzgerald of Memphis; and two brothers, Lou Litton of Dallas and Carl Litton of Memphis.
