He was a former minister of Westside Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne Acheson Munos, who passed away in the Haiti earthquake.
Survivors include wife, Edna Mae Acheson; two sons, Rev. Charles (Charlene) Acheson and J. Dean Acheson and son-in-law, Jack Munos; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
