Virgie Chick, age 93, of Mimosa Road, Fayetteville, TN. died Thursday night (Nov. 32, 2002)in Lincoln Skill Care Center. A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Doctor Garner Alexander and Maridria Smith Baker. She was a seamstress and a member of the Brandon's Chapel Methodist Church. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, Jimmy Chick, Billy Joe Chick, and Bobby Joe Chick, Jr., all of Fayetteville, Terry Lee Chick and Jo Dean Counts, both of Flintville, Bobby Lynn Chick of Bunker Hill, Roger Chick of Tullahoma, Robert Allen Turner of California, David Turner of Clarksville, Rebecca Bennett of Guntersville, Ala., Linda Mitchell of Hazel Green, Ala., and Marvin Douglas Winsett of Huntsville, Ala,; 20 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home and the Revs. Sonny Moore and Kenneth McNatt officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery.
