Harold C. Schroeder, 64, of 3215 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers, died Saturday, February 25, 1989. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Rev. Donald Marquardt will officiate with burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Tisch Mills.
Mr. Schroeder was born June 7, 1924 in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late Ernst and Leona Kracht Schroeder. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He married the former Marian Riha on November 20, 1948 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. She preceded him in death August 22, 1970. Mr. Schroeder owned and operated a farm in Kewaunee County until 1971, after which he worked at Hamacheck Manufacturing Company in Kewaunee until retiring in 1984.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Harold Jr., and Mary Schoeder of DeMoines, Washington; a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Kenneth Duveneck of Mishicot; a brother, Ralph Schoeder of Mishicot; two sisters, Esther Brandenburg and Verona Prokup, both of Two Rivers and seven grandchildren.
