ALEXANDER KONIECZNY

Alexander Konieczny, 93, of Route 1, Denmark, died unexpectedly early Thursday
evening, August 20, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch
Mills. The Rev. Msgr. Brian P. Coleman will officiate and burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
Mr. Konieczny was born June 17, 1888 (sic), in Poland. He married Martha
Sieslinski (sic) July 4, 1916, at Michigan City, Ind. He engaged in farming most
of his life, moving to his present address in 1965. His wife preceded him in
death December 1968.
Survivors include seven sons, Edward of Warsaw, Ind., Sylvester and Stanley of
LaPorte, Ind., Casimer, Francis and Harold of Route 1, Denmark and Alexander J.
of Route 1, Mishicot; five daughters, Mrs. Irene Gove of Manitowoc, Mrs. Willard
(Gertrude) Button, Mrs. Walter (Eleanor) Seivers and Mrs. Thomas (Marie) Miller
of LaPorte, and Mrs. Lawrence (Ruth) Willy of Cedar Lake, Ind.; a brother, Joseph
of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Popovich of Peshtigo; 44 grandchildren and 28
great grandchildren. Six brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 4 p.m. Sunday. A memorial
service will be at 7:30 p.m.
