Emily was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and was a member of the Rosary Society of the church. She was proud of her Bohemian Heritage and enjoyed speaking Bohemian with her family and friends. Emily was a very special, friendly, kind, hard working person who enjoyed working and being on the farm. She was a very religious and prayerful person with a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She loved polka music, sheepshead, and always had an interest in her family and their lives. She took the time to recognize people and their needs. Emily was a grateful, good-hearted person with a sense of humor who loved to bake and always had the welcome mat out for everyone.
Emily is survived by her daughter: Elaine (Paul) Dewane of Sheboygan; one son: David Havlichek, on the family farm in Bolt; two granddaughters: Dawn Dewane and her special friend, Andy Prickett of Oshkosh; Heather Micke and her special friend, Bryan Gudgeon of Green Bay; one sister: Helen Melnarik of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive. A time of visitation and support will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. The Lambert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the family with arrangements.
There is no better friend than a mother.
Loving and kind in all your ways,
Strong and just to the end of your day;
Sincere and true, in our heart and mind, beautiful memories you have left behind.
For all the joy and love you gave us, you hold a very special place that no one can fill in the hearts of those who love you and you know you always will.
