Mrs. George Elda Plos, age 74, of 115 Mill Lane, Tisch Mills, died Thursday, February 20, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, after a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 24, 1997, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Gibson. Rev. Maurice L. Hoppe will officiate with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tisch Mills.
She was born June 24, 1922, in the town of Montpelier, daughter of the late William and Johanne (Zahn) Mueller. She married George Plos at Tisch Mills, May 15, 1943. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Gibson. Mrs. Plos enjoyed sewing and was especially known for her baking. She loved to garden. She always looked forward to their annual fishing trip with her husband.
Survivors include her loving husband, George; three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Mary Ann Plos, Villa Park, Ill., George and Madeline Plos, South Milwaukee, Jack and Marilyn Plos, Kewaunee; eight grandchildren, Chris, Sarah, Jennifer, Joseph, Rebecca, Ben, Troy and Cory; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Howard, Sturgeon Bay, Adeline (Milton) Cherveny, rural Two Rivers; one brother, Orville (Lorraine) Mueller, Luxemberg; one brother-in-law, Walter Siegmund, Stangelville;
nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Frieda Siegmund and one brother, Elmer Mueller.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 3-8 p.m. on Sunday, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church before the funeral service.
