Anna Mancl was born 22 JUL 1845 Žichlice, Bohemia - a small village north of Pilsen. She was the second daughter to Anton Mancl and Anna Včala-Mancl. The Mancl family immigrated to America in 1857. After their arrival in Wisconsin, Ann's mother died. Her father later married Maria Cziha. The Mancl family bought land and farmed in Kewaunee County. Anna married Jan Kopetsky. Together they had ten children.
