BEVERLY A. STANGEL

Beverly A. Stangel, age 66, of 18321 Stangel Road, Tisch Mills, died Saturday,
Oct. 19, 2002 at the North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center of
Manitowoc.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday,
Oct. 22, 2002, at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish Community, Nativity of the BVM,
Tisch Mill Site, with the Reverend Joseph Coopmans, O Praem., the Msgr. John
Dewane, and the Reverend Mark Stangel as Concelebrants. Burial will follow in
the parish cemetery.
Beverly was born September 26, 1936, in Valders, to Roland and Alice Cisler
Dewane, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of the
Kewaunee High School graduating with the class of 1955. She married Ben Stangel
Aug. 25, 1956 at St. Lawrence Catholic church in Stangelville. Beverly was
employed as a cake decorator for the Krause Shopping Center in Mishicot for many
years and also worked as a cook for 25 years at Koeppel's La Fiesta. She enjoyed
crafting, and making quilts for family and friends. She loved animals, especially
cats and dogs. Beverly was an excellent cook, and also enjoyed spending time
tending to her flower gardens.
Survivors include her husband Ben; two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and
Mark Weyker, of Milwaukee, Margaret and David Prince; of Manitowoc; four sons
and three daughters-in-law, Philip and Mary Stangel, of DePere, James and Laurie
Stangel, of Tisch Mills, John and Karen Stangel, of Sturgeon Bay, and Michael
Stangel, of Tisch Mills, and by 12 grandchildren. She is further survived by her
mother, Alice Servais, of Two Rivers; four brothers and three sisters-in-law,
Msgr. John Dewane, of Green Bay; Gerald and Marlene Dewane, of Two Rivers. Leland
and Linda Servais, of Arizona, Larry and Ann Servais, of Two Rivers; two brothers-
in-law, Rev. Mark Wrangel, of Milwaukee, Dave and Mary Stangel, of Manitowoc,
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Dewane, and
by her stepfather, Clarence Servais.
Relatives and friends may call after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Isidore the Farmer
Parish Community, Nativity of the BVM Site, until the time of service at 11 a.m.
There will be no Monday evening visitation. The Lambert Funeral Home of Mishicot
is assisting the Stangel family with funeral arrangements.
