SYBIL SCHAUER

POPULAR YOUNG LADY DEAD
Word was received here last night of the death of Sybil, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Anton G. Schauer at Tisch Mills yesterday afternoon. Deceased had been
suffering from a complication of diseases for several weeks and altho fears for
her recovery were great, her sudden taking away is keenly felt by her many friends
here.
"Sibbie", as she was familiarly called, was an unusually bright young lady and
with her happy ways and pleasant smile won her way into the hearts of all with
whom she came into contact. She was the pride of her friends and the joy of her
home. Her untimely death will leave a wound in many hearts that time alone can
heal. The Enterprise force of which she was once a member extend their heartfelt
sympathy to the bereaved parents and sisters. The funeral was held at 10 o'clock
Saturday -- The Kewaunee Enterprise

OBITUARY MENTION
When Sybil Schauer passed away from this world to the realm from whence none return,
there was intense sorrow in the Schauer household and in the home of all in which
the decedent was acquainted. She was popular because she was pleasant, kind and true.
She always had a good word for all of her companions.
Sybil Schauer, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schauer died on Thursday,
January 6th at 1:30 at the family home. Death resulted from a severe attack of
pneumonia from which she suffered for several months past. It was the divine will
that the youthful teen should die at the age of eighteen. She attended the common
school of Tisch Mills, attended and graduated from the Green Bay Business College
in 1909. She taught school two years and was a stenographer at the Kewaunee Enterprise
for some time. The deceased was buried in the Tisch Mills Catholic Cemetery, where she
is now resting in peace. The funeral was one of the largest that ever took place at
Tisch Mills. There was a very liberal display of floral pieces presented by friends of
the mourners. Postmaster J. J. Schultz Walter Sey?, Sheriff Forts and wife, Joseph Fencil
and Willie Lutien of Kewaunee, Mrs. James P. Pelnar and son, Walter of Menominee, Mich.,
and Mrs. Doddy Rhode of Chicago were among the friends from who attended the funeral.
