Miss Evelyn Rose Tulachka, 53, head nurse at Maplecrest Sanitorium, Whitelaw, for a number of years, died unexpectedly at the institution early Sunday morning.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills, the Rev. Donald Feller officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Tisch Mills.

Miss Tulachka was born Sept. 4, 1906, in Kewaunee County, daughter of Joseph Tulachka and the late Mrs. Anna Stangel Tulachka. She was graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1926. She entered the Holy Family Hospital Nurses Training School, Manitowoc, where she was graduated in 1929. For several years after her graduation, she was
employed at Holy Family Hospital and for the past 15 years, she was at Maplecrest Sanitorium. She was a member of Holy Rosary Society of St. Mary Church and the Holy Family Nurses Training School Alumni.

Besides her father of Manitowoc, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. M. Raphael of Mt. Calvary, Wis., and Mrs. Oscar Gasper of Rt. 1, Two Rivers; and five brothers, Joseph and George of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, Frank of Madison, Rudolph of Manitowoc, and Norbert of Butler, Wis.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this Monday morning where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Rosary for the Holy Rosary Society will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
