George A. Spevacek, 48, employed at the J.J. Stangel Hardware Co. for 24 years, died at his home 912 North 6th street, Sunday morning. He had been ill with a heart ailment since September.
Mr. Spevacek was born May 9, 1896, in the town of Gibson. Twenty-one years ago he married Miss Marie Stangel of Tisch Mills and they moved to this city. For many years Mr. Spevacek was floor manager in the retail department of the Stangel store.
Mr. Spevacek belonged to three organizations. Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society of Holy Innocents church, and the American Catholic Union of Tisch Mills. Tomorrow night the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name members will recite the rosary at 8 and 8:30.
Survivors are the wife and
three brothers,
*Anton, Milwaukee,
*Charles, town of Gibson, and
*Emil, of Mishicot.
