Mary Berenek, 94, of Rt. 1, Kewaunee, Town of Carleton, died late Wednesday evening at Maple Crest Nursing Home, Whitelaw.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills.
The Rev. Donald Feller will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Beranek was born March 28, 1876, daughter of the late George and Margaret Anderle Holly. She was married to Wenzel Beranek in 1896 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. The couple lived at Tisch Mills for 13 years and then moved to the farm in Carleton. Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 1953. She was a member of St. Mary Church and its Rosary Society.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin of Rt. 1, Kewaunee, and Frank of El Paso, Texas; six daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Emma) Stangel, Mrs. Leo (Anna) Sydow, Helen Shu__, all of Manitowoc, Mrs. Frank (Clara) Opichka, of Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert (Adeline) Stangel, of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Gregory
(Eleanor) Lutz, of Wisconsin Rapids; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where parish memorial services will be conducted at 8 p.m.
