Final tribute was paid to the late Joseph T. Konop, 49, prominent Tisch Mills
business man and bank director at St. Mary's church in Tisch Mills Monday
morning. The Rev. Hodek officiated. Burial was at the church cemetery. Members
of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary's church and the Z.C.B.J. Bohemian lodge
of which the late Mr. Konop was an active worker, marched in the funeral
procession, while old band mates of Mr. Konop rendered a number of selections
at the church and at the home. Active pall-bearers were Edward Koutnik, Edward
Stangel, Joseph Schleis, Peter Nuhlicek, and Benj. Stangel, all of Tisch Mills
and Joseph Nijameier of Two Rivers. The latter two represented the Holy Name
Society and the Z.C.B.J. lodge, respectively. Honorary pall-bears, all directors
of the Tisch Mills State Bank, were Chas. Peterson and Anton Chermak of
Manitowoc, Ben Urbanek, Two Creeks, T.W. Knudson, Bold, Adolph Dvorak, Rudolph
Stangel, Anton L. Olsen and Joseph Mach, all of Tisch Mills. Out of town
attendants at the funeral were Matt Soucoup, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Soukup, Mr. and
Mrs. George Soucoup of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schulist and family, Mr. and
Mrs. H.D. Hawoer and Miss Clara Fencl, all of Milwaukee, Joseph Fencl, Manitowoc,
besides a large number of relatives from the vicinity of Kewaunee, Stangelville
and Tisch Mills

Tisch Mills:
On Tuesday last at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mr. Joseph Konop and
Rosie Forst were united in wedlock, Rev. Father Prochaska officiating.
After the wedding ceremony the wedding party departed for Two Rivers
to have their pictures taken and then came for supper which was served
at the home of Mr. Anton Holly. A large circle of friends and relatives
wish them that their lives may be long and happy.
